Which Onnit Products
are NSF Certified For Sport®?

About NSF Certified for Sport®

If you use a dietary supplement that bears the NSF Certified for Sport® mark, you can be confident that its contents were thoroughly tested by one of the most respected certifiers in the world. With so many choices on the market, it pays to be cautious. Do your research and look for the Certified for Sport® mark on products.

Why Choose NSF Certified for Sport®

The NSF Certified for Sport® program helps athletes make safer decisions when choosing sports supplements. In addition to lot-by-lot testing for over 272 athletic banned substances, products bearing the Certified for Sport ® mark on package must be produced in a manufacturing facility that is inspected twice a year to comply with the U.S. FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Label claims are verified and products are tested to verify formulation. The product is also tested for harmful levels of contaminants, such as heavy metals or fraudulent ingredients.

Certified for Sport® is the only independent third-party certification program recognized by MLB, the MLB Players Association, the NHL and the CFL. The MLB, NHL and CFL clubs are permitted to only provide and recommend products that are Certified for Sport®, and players are urged to only use these products. The certification is also recommended by the NFL, PGA, LPGA, CCES, CPSDA and Taylor Hooton Foundation.

About NSF International:

A Public Health and Safety Organization

NSF International is an independent and accredited non-governmental organization whose mission is to protect and improve global human health. They do this by leading the development of public health and safety standards and by testing and certifying products and systems to those standards.

Certified products and systems earn the NSF mark, which is respected by consumers, manufacturers, retailers and regulatory agencies. Deeply rooted in science, they are widely recognized as the “gold standard” for quality in areas such as water systems, food safety and health sciences including dietary supplements.

NSF Takes Their Public Health
Mission Seriously

Their mission is what makes them unique in our industry. Their core values, their independence and their focus on human health is what sets them apart from their competitors. It enables them to operate with unwavering integrity.

Consumers care about the quality and safety of the products they buy, seeking transparency on where their products come from and how they’ve been handled. Now more than ever, it’s critical to have rigorous standards that consumers, government and industry can rely on… and trustworthy organizations to develop them.
