2 Tbsp. Onnit Compound Cooking Oil, spicy
3 cups whole shishito peppers
Himalayan or sea salt, to taste
½ lemon


  1. Heat Compound Cooking Oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. When hot, arrange peppers in a single layer. Cook each side for two to three minutes until skin blisters. Turn and cook, until peppers are charred on all sides
  2. Transfer peppers to a serving platter, squeeze lemon juice and sprinkle with salt. Serve immediately.
