The Sandbag Get Up Exercise is an essential functional movement that involved full body strength, conditioning, and coordination. While dealing with the constantly shifting load of the sandbag, you must perform a series of precise movements to safely stand from a lying position. The “transfer” as shown here, is a pivotal part of the movement in between sitting up and transversing to a lunge position.
