The Battle Ring L-Sit Rope Climb is an excellent strength and conditioning drill that engages your grip, upper body, core, and hips all at the same time. While the standard rope climb is great for functional climbing and grip/upper body development, adding the L-Sit position into the movement makes it much more challenging. This position also allows you to perform the drill with less distance in between the ground and the anchor point, meaning that you could use any standard pull up bar, combined with a Battle Rope or Onnit’s Battle Ring Suspension System, to perform the drill.
