The Brute Strength Fat Bar & Kettlebell Workout is a full body strength workout that combines traditional kettlebell exercises with compound barbell movements. This combination of kettlebell training with barbell training will develop total body strength, not to mention the added benefit of increased aerobic endurance. Think of it as a strength training 2 for 1 deal. Pairing the fat bar with a set of heavy kettlebells will send your grip strength through the roof! Why perform a standalone kettlebell or barbell workout when you could combine the two into the hybrid that is the Brute Strength Fat Bar & Kettlebell Workout.
Perform both kettlebell and barbell exercises from group A as one round, resting 120 seconds between rounds. Do the same for both kettlebell and barbell exercises from group B. Rest 60 seconds after each round of barbell exercise C.
A1: Barbell Suitcase Deadlift – 5 rounds x 5 reps each side.
A2: Double Kettlebell Bent Over Row – 5 rounds x 10 reps.
B1: Barbell Squat to Curl – 5 rounds x 10 reps.
B2: Double Kettlebell Single Leg Deadlift – 5 rounds x 5 reps each side.
C1: Barbell Clean Squat Press Complex – 5 rounds x 5 reps.
